Random Thoughts

I know some people on here wanted to see some pics of my basement after describing it and the "friends" that live down there. Well I still am undecided about tanks down there but this weekend I will install my RO/DI.

I'm an aquariast from way back. I've been keeping tanks over 25 years, and had a marine tank over 20 years ago (first marriage) and loved it. My ex-wife gave it away, after the fish died, to one of her boyfriends, who kept a snake in it. My oldest son took my 29 gallon freshwater tank to college with him, and set it up in his fraternity's living room. He now has it in his living room at home. I got a 90 gallon tank just ...

I had a great time this weekend in Seattle. I had the chance to meet a bunch of PSAS members, see a tank or two, visit a few fish stores, steal some socks, fight off a dog that I nicknamed "Licker", devoured steak and halibut, enjoyed the rain and trees, recorded something special for you Reef Addicts... I'll share that stuff in the near future.

I'm happy to be back home again. My tank looks great, which my son kept an eye on while I was away.

Random gripe... Any type of Reef Putty stinks, and unfortunately there are times with Superglue doesn't cut it. Just a well place frag, with plenty of putty crammed into the crevices.. become dislodged. While putty really does harden, it doesn't adhere to anything.
