    Hey y'all, it's been a while. - Thought I would post my last video of my tank before the 700 mile trek to Fort Myers, FL. I really like where my tank is today and am super depressed about moving it to it's new location. I am happy to be moving to a place where there's a pretty decent reef community and culture! Anyway... here ya go!

  2. updated pics of the 150g

    when i started this tank i wanted lots of room for fish and for my sps to grow into big colonies. im still thining out my collection so its a lil crowded once i figure out what how much light each one likes and how its growing ill start glueing stuff down. I also wanted to "impress Marc" after he called my last tank a fruit stand lol, marc if you see anything you like i would be happy to send you frags i live in san antonio so we can work something out, or theres always that new mega bus ...

  3. Looking for some guidence and help

    this is my first entry on reef addicts. I am looking for some advice and guidence. I have been in this hobby for about 8 years. I have let my tank go down hill when everything that I was bought would die. A few times i wanted to take down my 90 gallon but could not bring my self to it. Recently I found out that I have been giving wrong info from the LFS, I have installed a refugium with live sand, rubble rock, cheato, a bio pellet reactor and a reef octopus 6 skimmer.   4. The tank is on the stand

    Yesterday I got some friends together to lift the tank on to the stand. The estimated weight of the tank is 450lbs and not an easy lift for sure. To make it even more difficult we had to put the tank up at an angle in order to clear the garage door rail.

    First I dragged the pallet and tank out of the garage with the golf cart and spun the tank around and let the edges hang off so we could grab it.

  5. 75 Gal build Stage 1, Planning

    As most of you know I'm getting the 55 gal set up I gave away a year ago back. And planning to upgrade it to a 75.

    Step 1, Research
    I've just finished rereading parts of "Aquarium Corals" by Eric H. Borneman, which prompted me to get a copy of "Natural Reef Aquariums" by John H. Tullock. I really like Tullocks ideas for a biotype aquarium that replicates one reef zone, from one part of the world.

    Currently I only have 2 species of fish. 1 false ...
