• The Infamous IceCap Couch at MACNA 2010

There were lots of great booths and designs at MACNA this year, but one of the ones that got the most buzz what IceCap's 20'x10' booth. Laura Birenbaum, (THE one and only hottie reefer'ette you always hear Marc and I refer to on the podcast) purchased a set of canvas covered couches from IKEA and supplied sharpies for speakers, sponsors, and VIP to sign during the show. Being the Reef Addicts supporter that she is, she let me tag the couch with a big ole' logo. The couch was a great idea both for memories and for marketing. Everyone had something to say about it, or wanted to know where they were going to go after the show. Last I heard, Laura was taking it home with her.

Below you'll see a fun little video of the process and some of the other taggers I caught on camera.

I drew a couple pieces of art on the couch. John from ORCA requested I draw the event logo on the couch so here you see the finished product.

Christine Williams asked me to sketch a seahorse to accompany her name

Christine completing her own artwork in exchange for a t-shirt.
    Sanjay Joshi making his mark

    Simon doing his thing.

    Justin Credable drawing a robot

    Bruce caught in the act

Bob being a poser as always.

And I know Laura captured a lot more on her camera so I'll update the article with more pics when I get them.

You need a Scott Fellman picture, which I know I took. That video came out great - a little shaky but that's my fault. Gotta love the iPhone 4 though.

I am surprised that no one has mentioned Ciotti's clam yet. I am sure the way it is positioned is no coincidence.....lol
