Here is the start of my 300. I closed a room in my house and made a office with my tank being viewable on both sides. It is starfire on the 2 viewing panels. My sump and fuge are in my garage. Still want to change my sump out one day for a nice custom one but here is my progress so far. My tank has already been up for 3 years. Hopefully next year I will get the office side done and my new sump. ...

Hi everyone. I have had a 55 gallon tank set up for about nine months now and am looking for advise on what type of skimmer to buy. Eventually(not anytime soon) I will be upgrading so I want a skimmer able to pump about 200-300 gallons. Also, I plan on getting the swabbie from Avast Marine so I'm looking to buy one of those. Ok so I am going to try and get my DIY rock going in the next month. I really want to do a wall of sort and came up with this basic design. Today I found a good deal on an ATI Bubble Master 300, so I decided to purchase it. Getting the second skimmer purchased was one of the major roadblocks in progressing with my 245G/180G and Breeding Setup build. I now have a skimmer for both the dual in-wall tanks and the breeding set up. Both systems will hold about 500 G of water each. I have the above mentioned ATI and an ASM G6. Anyone have any suggestions as to which system would get which skimmer? Thanks for your input.
