Now for the rest of the update Its the weekend so work has been done, I glad to say the the outside of the fish room is 95% done. Still need to clear coat and cut a piece of trim, trim the rest of the basement and then save for carpet. But I did get paint on the walls, trim installed and have started on the inside. Bulkhead came in yesterday so I can soon start on the plumbing. ...

This has been going on now for like a month. My tank is a 140 shallow reef tank with T5's. I have two 6100 tunzes for water movement. Run the lights from 4:30 to 11:30. I have a total water volume of 260. I have two 30 gallon breeder tanks plumbed into for sps frag tanks. These are full of water but no corals in them at this moment. Water parameters are as follows ph 8.4 Ca 380 Alk 8 NO3 15 NO2 0 NH3 0 temps. swing .3 degrees of 77 ...
Right now I'm running two 400watt MH (PFO ballast) XM 15K bulbs (SE), and it's time to change them out. I'm considering trying a different brand and just wanted to get some feedback from here. I will also be supplementing with a Super Actinic and a 454 VHO from UVL. Thanks!

Well after a few years in the hobby I feel its time for an upgrade. What better time to look for a larger tank than when the wife is out of town. So I started searching for a larger tank, luck lead me to a nice 240g along with 2 ice cap ballast's, rubbermaid holding tank, reef flo pump, and a whole lot of plumbing. Step 1.
