After 6 + years of keeping an SPS dominated tank I have been forced to start over due to a slow and painful tank crash. I'm not quite sure what to attribute the crash to whether it was old tank syndrome (if that is even a real thing), two hurricanes and prolonged power outages with no generator, sheer size of my SPS colonies and my not being able to keep up with my ca2 or dkh demand are all viable possibilities etc etc. Anyway, after deducing that at least one problem was likely that ...

Since October, my last update, I've been pretty busy...and I'm only going to get busier because the tank is wet! We're at the end of the cycle now, just letting things flow as we're not on any particular schedule here. Although amusingly enough Tibet is quieter then our grow out tank. I attribute it to the wide overflow, and the sump design. I have a skimmer on order, an RLSS r10, which I'm dying to get my hands on. So far the tank has run completely skimmerless since it was filled. ...

So guys.....here we go... I made some 3Ds of Rimless. any suggestion..... I got question for all of you.... Do you thing 120cm L x 100cm W x 60cm H with 12MM Tempered Glass will go without eurobracing. I want Pure Rimless.....and open look from top. More than 12MM starphire is not available in market..... Well, well, well....looks like I'm back on familiar grounds. It has been nearly two years since I last started my 300 Gallon Mixed Reef.
