I think I finally have something to say,hopefully pics will follow soon.The new tank project has started.It will be a Cadlights starfire tank 96x36x30 if the tank volume calculators are correct it is about 450 gallons.This will replace a 200 gallon acrylic nightmare,the coraline grows so fast in my tank that to keep it clean takes way too much effort. I unexpectedly bought a Galaxea Green frag today... Left the car at the washing station, 45 minutes queue, went for a walk with the kids and decided to check out an LFS closeby which I hadn't been to in years. Just saw something that made me very very happy. When we moved my reef to Tuan's a year ago, my little randolfs pistol shrimp was no where to be found. Tuan says he never saw any sign of him in over a year. Well, guess who I just saw with the red flashlight! My little shimp alive and well digging himself a new home. :-) This is really amazing, since we thoughly washed all the sand with ice cold tap water before putting it back in the tank.
