I have questions that need answers.
It's been awhile since my last post and my 180 is up and running. After 6 months im glad to finally have a few pieces of livestock in the tank. So far it consists of 4 pj's 2 firefish 4 turbo snails and 10 red leg hermit crabs. Going to be adding to the clean up crew over the next month and will wait till the tanks been running for awhile longer before I start adding any corals. After having issues with the sand I feel that i probally didnt clean it well enough before adding it to the main tank ...
about a week ago my condy anemone was acting weird. first it was lying upside down in the sand and it bloated up and it looked like it was turing inside out, then it flipped back over the next day but still looked bloated and it let out some milky white stuff and i thought it was spawning. then it looked fine for one day, it opened up about half way. now it looks like this. its been this way for about two days now. anyone know what's going on here? is it dead?

With the heavy snows, epic winds and strong thunderstorms of the past 3 months (in the Cleveland, OH area) combined with my increasing investment in my fledgling reef, I have to really consider some sort of power generator to get through power outages. Well, After about 9 days of hard labor, the new Stand is completed. I had help from my cousin on the skinning of it. Am hopeful to begin the Stand Swap on Friday. Any words of wisdom on doing a stand swap out there? Below are some pix of the build. The inside is Kilnz and then a Qt of HD's - Behr's Semi-Gloss Interior Enamel paint.
