Now, I've read a lot about the various ways to cycle a tank and was wondering if anyone has ever tried the dead shrimp into the tank as a biological medium to start the cycle on its way?

And what is the relationship ...

Okay, I'm a little slow on the uptake with things this morning...Saturday I added a bunch of photos and descriptions of how we got started with the best Christmas present ever, all the way to where we're at now with it. And just this morning, following the second cup of coffee, I figured out that the "Create new post" button would allow me to post images in the blog format, which would have worked better. 4. MarineLand Tanks

    Hello,
I think Ive decided to go with a Marineland tank I got a quote from one of my LFS for a 90gal 48x18x24 and a 75gal 48x18x20. I still haven't decided on what one I'm going to get yet. I asked the guy if I could get starphire glass on the front and sides and that they didn't do that, Well I thought to myself Ive seen other people post that they had a Marineland tank with starphire I thought Melevs was that way as well, So I emailed them to see if it was still possible. (I hope so but ...
  5. Proof of Life

Been getting a lot of work done lately. Most recently I've been transferring corals over. Here is a shot I took today while experimenting with white balance. It's not quite this warm in color in real life, but this was a very clear picture that provides a lot of detail, so I thought I'd share.

And a couple other shots. This is from the right side looking left (from inside ...
