  1. Freshly Caught Seafood For My Tank

    I think it is ok but it is better to be safe than sorry. I caught some silversides at the beach the other day when catching bait to go fishing . After another unsuccessful day of fishing I released the live ones and took a couple of the dead ones home. I quickly washed them off in fresh water and put them in the freezer. Do you think i could feed them to My anemone to vary his diet a little, or do you think it would be safer to avoid freshly caught from the beach? Just curious what you guys ...

  2. My 75g RR Tank Build / Teardown

    I decided to put the new tank where I the old tank was. So, the old tank had to move. What I did was put everything in a rubbermaid with two powerheads. I put the frags in a tupperware container. Corals on top! My T5's on top. Shrimps, crabs and snails on top of that. New stand is in place, all equipment is cleaned and wifes going to clean and paint tonight or tomorrow. Here is pictures:

    Oh, and thats my little girl (Chihuahua) in the pics...Tia!

  4. Toilet Wars

    For the past month, my toilet has been driving me nuts. I replaced the refill mechanism, but once it was full, over the next 5 to 10 minutes it would drain about 1.5" of water, and refill. The only solution to not wasting water was to shut off the water line going to the toilet. Then when it was time to use it again, open the valve, wait for it to fill up, and proceed - then close it down again. It was very very annoying.

    I bought a new flapper from Home Depot, but that didn't ...

  5. My 75g RR Tank Build!

    Okay, Sunday my wife and I drove to go and get my tank in Katy Texas. We went to pick up a 75 gallon Reef Ready tank that I trade for a very nice laptop. I love the tank and although it does need a little TLC, it's big and RR. ;-) Here is a pic of it:
