  1. Things that go away on their own

    It seems that there are so many people in this hobby that are stressed every time they see something either growing or just appearing in their tanks.
    I figured I would post things that over the years just went away with no help from me.
    Hair algae.
    I have no idea when I took this picture but it must have been at least 15 years ago. That fireclown is stil with me and he is almost 18 now, but look at all the hair algae. The fish and corals were in great shape, but the tank looked ...

  2. Going through the emails tonight...

    I saw this video submission that I figured you might get a kick out of. If you really want the bottom of your barebottom tank cleaned, this could be one method.

  3. 75 Gal build Stage 1, Planning

    As most of you know I'm getting the 55 gal set up I gave away a year ago back. And planning to upgrade it to a 75.

    Step 1, Research
    I've just finished rereading parts of "Aquarium Corals" by Eric H. Borneman, which prompted me to get a copy of "Natural Reef Aquariums" by John H. Tullock. I really like Tullocks ideas for a biotype aquarium that replicates one reef zone, from one part of the world.

    Currently I only have 2 species of fish. 1 false ...
  4. The Aquarium on Papermill

    Today i also had the opportunity to visit The Aquarium its a lfs located In Knoxville Tn about 2hrs from my house i will do this blog exactly like i did the one for The Coral Reef. im going to keep it simple just insert the pics below and a short review at the bottom i hope you all enjoy

  5. The Coral Reef

    Today I finally had the opportunity to visit a fish store ive been wanting to go to for quite some time.
    its a place called The Coral Reef it is located in Knoxville Tn and is about 2 hours from my house.
    im not going to go into great detail about the store even though i would like to. im going to simply place the pictures i took below and comment about the store as i go.
