I was very excited to add my first serpent star to my tank last week, which promptly hid under the rocks. Two days later I was shocked to see it hanging on my rock wall just after the lights went out - missing the entire top of its carapace. Well, first let me start off with a big thank you to a few people who have helped me get the grasp and understanding of what I am diving into.. Those few people that I'd really like to mention are Jessy, SDguy (Peter), Nick_Kun, SDFishman (Justin), Rudy, and nahtanoj (Jonathan) all of whom (whether they knew it or not) have helped me out tremendously in my quest to start up this endeavor. I am looking at 3 different skimmers for my first one. DO not know if it will be a FOLR or FO but I think my first dive will be in one of the 2. I believ I want to try just fish before I rap up a ton of money in coral and etc and find out I got my hand in more than I thought. Pluse I really do like some of the larger fish and small eels. My question to those with the knowledge is whice one of:

i was thinking about converting my mega flow #4 wet/dry sump into a refugium, with about 3'' of mud. just woundering if anybody had done this or different ideas.
