Do It Yourself projects
Hello everyone, hope you've all had a happy new year ! I as I'm sure many others do have my tank setup in my bedroom, and sometimes the smell of the rotting goo in the protein skimmer collection cup creates quite a funk that has been getting quite noticeable in my room This clearly needed fixing, and after a bit of research I happened upon a few prebuilt skimmer lids with carbon chambers to filter the air and absorb the smell from the skimmate. It was pretty dirty, 3 inches of Wally World Purple Gravel, deap plastic Plants with Blown Insulation into everything. and See before and after ...

First off let me say this is better for me, I never said cheaper. LOL Mounting corals frags to the live rock never was a pleasant experience. The epoxy putty would either get to hard too quick, or fail to stick to the live rock. Then I had a idea to use magnets to hold down my corals. That way I could move them to different ...
