I was concerned with coral placements; they really wouldn’t have any place to go with only being 2”-3” from the top… This gives every one a little more room. Every day, the first thing I see is my reef and it keeps my company all day long. I check on a few things once the coffee is brewing. One comment I hear from a lot of visitors is that the glass is so clean. It's true, I prefer to keep my view unobscured and will make sure to swipe it often with the cleaning magnet. When stubborn spots appear, a plastic credit card is used to scrape those away. I do have to give some credit to the glass itself. Starphire has a much prettier look ...
I've been watching the staghorn coral grow upwards for the past few months. When the tip hit the surface, I figured it would stop.
