Last year I finally ran out of salt and shopped around for something new. I've enjoyed using Sybon Reef formula, but it's nowhere to be found. I did the Fritz brand for a few months, using about 750g worth... maybe more. I ended up buying a barrel of the Aquavitro Salinity salt, and today I cracked open the barrel for the first time. I got two more tests done today. Calcium is 450ppm, Magnesium is 1300ppm. I prefer Magnesium to be higher, more like 1400ppm.

I removed the sump from the system Sunday a week ago. I just got it installed back in the system Monday evening. While it was out I completed the drain line plumbing to the Sump. I made a acrylic cooling fan holder and also a probe holder that allows probes to be added in the bubble trap. I also made the feet for the corner boxes along with a acrylic cover for mounting float switches to the return compartment and probe holders to the refugium compartment.
