  1. um what is this

It has been long overdue since I've been on. A lot of new things going on. For starters I have another munchkin on the way. I recently acquired another dog to add to, what it seems like, "my zoo". I have decided that the tank that I started earlier this year will be called Little Ireland. Awkward name for a reef tank, I know, but it was started on St. Patty's day. Not too much going on with the tank other than some creature that appears to be wrapped around my birds nest anyone have any ...

  2. The 400g Has Arrived

Friday September 6 2013 at 10:00 a.m., I was ready and waiting by the door for a big truck bearing my 400g replacement reef aquarium. The tank was due to arrive within moments along with 10 guys hired to bring it inside and onto the stand, courtesy of Marineland. I took the front door off the hinges, removed the hardware that pulls the storm door shut, and moved the framed photographs off the wall that the tank would pass beneath.

I just moved the tank to another room, I upgraded to LED's, got a new skimmer and just ordered 2 koralia evo powerheads. ...

  4. Possible Baby Lettuce Nudibranch?

After adding two Lettuce Nudibrachs into my aquarium to deal with a Bryopsis Algae issue a day or so later I stumbled across this guy moving on the glass. Not sure but to me it looks like a baby Lettuce Nudibranch. Any thoughts?

  5. Bryiopsys Algae Control.

It looks like the reef keeping gods have decided to test me with as many of the most common problems in starting a marine reef aquarium as possible. Now although I purchase Nutri-SeaWater as my already mixed saltwater I don't have an RO/DI unit (I just purchased one and I am waiting for it to be delivered) so my top off water for evaporation has been coming from my Poland Spring Water Dispenser. No I know bad me for not using RO/DI water from the start but it is what it is. So, this has contributed ...
