  1. My superman nano tank.

I thought I'd share how I built my nano tank for my daughter. This was originally going to be a seahorse tank but I found out later it was too short.

1st I laid out the design I wanted, I wanted something different to show off some acrylic skills.

2nd I made a cardboard template so when I bent the acrylic I could make sure the 1 piece side was correct.

  2. Early scaping trials.

    And some early Scaping attempts.
Needed something that would accentuate the tank deapth and have a 3D effect. Scap had to go higher from Rght to left so that viewing the tank from the RT side one would see an ascending structure with many of the corals still visible.
Not sure if I should still make it a bit higher than this or not. Any suggetsions are welcome.

  4. "what's wrong with me..."

about a week ago my condy anemone was acting weird. first it was lying upside down in the sand and it bloated up and it looked like it was turing inside out, then it flipped back over the next day but still looked bloated and it let out some milky white stuff and i thought it was spawning. then it looked fine for one day, it opened up about half way. now it looks like this. its been this way for about two days now. anyone know what's going on here? is it dead?

  5. May Full tank shot

So since the first of the year I have not been able to do too much. In February I moved all the sump and other filtration to the garage as we finally installed the AC unit in there. I have added a few corals here and there and got a calcium reactor online. This Month I finally got around to hanging the light fixture which has made the reef look a whole lot better and has created easier access to work within the tank. I also yanked out some rock and re aquascaped which still has the fishies hiding ...
